Hyatt is awarding 5,000 Hyatt Gold Passport bonus points

Hyatt is upping the ante by encouraging people already considering taking a trip to take advantage of discount hotel rooms and discount travel packages with bonus points for their Gold Passport members for checking in.

Hyatt is awarding 5,000 Hyatt Gold Passport bonus points after three eligible nights at any Hyatt hotel or resort worldwide for stays through November 15th, 2011. The offer covers stays at all brands, including Hyatt, Hyatts upscale boutique brand Andaz, and its extended stay brand Hyatt Summerfield Suites.

The promotion is based on cumulative nights stays, meaning both one night stay guests and extended stay guests benefit equally.

Travelers wishing to take advantage of this offer must belong to Hyatts free to join loyalty program and register in advance of their stays on the Hyatt promo site. They must also provide their membership number when reserving rooms and checking into the hotel.

Hyatt is capping the number of bonus points for this promotion at 30,000; equal to what someone would earn after six three night stays.

Hyatt Gold Passport free nights start at 5,000 points for category 1 hotels and go up to 22,000 points per night for its highest end hotels, such as Park Hyatt Maldives or Park Hyatt Paris Vendome.

Hyatt bonus points can be redeemed for free hotel stays, upgrades, miles, and other rewards. Hyatt had no blackout dates for redemption stays. www.cheapfares.com
