Orlando Offers Much More Than Simply Theme Parks

Cheap airplane tickets, discount hotel rooms, and cheap vacation packages are readily available to visit Orlando Florida. However many potential visitors are not aware that Orlando has much more to offer than Disney World and Universal theme parks.

Orlando has about 100 lakes, many connected by narrow canals. At Lake Osceola you can board a pontoon boat and take an hour long cruise past Spanish colonial style mansions, azalea gardens, stately Rollins College and moss laden cypresses.

College Parks main commercial drag, Edgewater Drive, is where you can find many locals favorite restaurants.
