Ritz-Carlton opens in Hong Kongs tallest building in March. Its rooms will be higher above street level than any other hotel rooms in the world. The Ritz will occupy floors 102 through 118 and will be surrounded by glass walls, ensuring skyscraper views of Hong Kong Island and Victoria Harbor from all 312 of its rooms.
The Rasa resort opens in Jaipur India in March. This resort will consist of 40 square tents with glass facades and canvas sides, mixing modern design with nature based appeal. The resorts restaurant will serve organic produce grown on site.
Hotel Missoni Kuwait in Kuwait City, Kuwait opens in February with all 169 of its rooms overlooking the Arabian Gulf. It will house an Italian restaurant, an 18th floor lounge offering global fare, and a Six Senses Spa opening this summer.
Corinthia Hotel London opens in April with 294 rooms sporting spacious marble bathrooms. A large ESPA spa will include 15 treatment rooms, a lap pool and caf. Chef Massimo Riccioli, who runs La Rosetta in Rome, will open a seafood restaurant in the hotel.
The Great Getaway Marrakech Hotel & Spa in Marrakesh Morocco opens in March offering guests access to both the city and country with Land Rover tours of the surrounding desert and guided shopping trips in the city. In additional to mountain view rooms in its main lodge there will be four air conditioned luxury tents that house fireplaces and free standing copper bathtubs.
Dream South Beach in Miami aims to open in February and will offer frosty blue hued rooms with hanging crystal light fixtures, etched mirrors, and geometric patterned headboards.
Hotel Americano in New York City expected to open in March has been outfitted with minimalist interiors that include glass enclosed showers, concrete floors and platform beds. Amenities range from a contemporary Latin accented French bistro, two subterranean bars, to a rooftop pool and lounge that should be open by summer.
Rosewood San Miguel De Allende in San Miguel De Allende Mexico opens in February with 67 rooms featuring beamed ceilings and outdoor patios or terraces. A rooftop tapas bar frames views of the town, as well as two swimming pools and a spa that will add to the hotels appeal.
