Demand for Sex Themed Cruises

While everyone appreciates cheap airplane tickets and discount hotel rooms, Carnival Cruise Lines has announced that there will be no more Cougar cruises in the future like one of which took place over three days in December on a Carnival cruise ship.

This outing was pitched by a California based Single Travel Company as a cougar cruise (referring to older women who pursue younger men) in a press release stating that a cougar knows exactly what she wants (and) what she doesnt want is children, cohabitation or commitment.

A couple months prior to this cruise there was a sexually charged cruise touted as a Swingers Cruise on another Carnival cruise ship. It was planned by a startup company called YOLO (which stands for You only live once). According to this companys President the plan was to offer swingers (people who want non-monogamous sexual experiences) a chance to get away with people looking for an open erotic atmosphere.

Both voyages proved popular and more are being planned. YOLO Cruises has chartered another Carnival ship for a second Swingers Cruise out of Miami on October 29th. Two additional cougar themed cruises are scheduled, one in May on a Royal Caribbean ship and another on a Norwegian Cruise Line.

Organizers of sexually charged voyages say they are simply responding to demand from the American public.
