TSA Employee Plants White Powder in Unsuspecting Student’s Carry-on

The sense of accomplishment you feel after snagging cheap airplane tickets or cheap vacation packages diminishes quickly if you dont have confidence in the security personnel checking you through security check points.

A female college student going through security on Tuesday, January 5th, at Philadelphias airport was subjected to a prank by a TSA (Transportation Security Administration) employee who planted a plastic bag containing a white power in her carry-on luggage.

Rebecca Solomon was stopped by a TSA agent as her bags were being screened. He looked in her laptop bag and pulled out the plastic bag of white powder. The agent then demanded she tell him where she had gotten the powder.

Rebecca had no explanation and was concerned that it might be bomb detonating material or drugs that someone had snuck into her bag.

With tears streaming down Rebeccas face, she tried to convince the TSA employee that she had never seen this baggie before.

After delivering her heartfelt plea, the security official smiled and said that the baggie was his. He waived the baggie at me and told me he was kidding, that I shouldve seen the look on my face, she said.

Solomon then asked to speak to a supervisor and filed a complaint. She was told that the man who had pulled the prank was training other TSA workers on how to detect contraband.

A TSA spokeswoman said on Saturday that the employee was no longer with the agency.
