Finding cheap travel deals be they cheap fares, cheap airfare, cheap airplane tickets, discount hotel rooms, cheap auto rentals, discount travel packages or cheap vacation packages is often much easier than finding an uncrowded beach.

The following are under the radar islands that offer sea views and ocean breezes, but not the crowds typically found at island destinations:

Marettimo, Italy is home to whitewashed houses and colorful fishing villages. Its year round climate feels African and is only an hour by boat from Sicily. There are no cars on the island which makes it ideal for those seeking peace and quiet.

You can only stay in one of the huts by winning a contest.

Guana Island, British Virgin Islands consists of seven baby power beaches, 850 acres and one very small resort. There are six stone cottages on the property. Scientists claim that flora and fauna is more extensive than on any island its size, anywhere. Guana is home to endangered species such as Caribbean Roseate flamingos, stout iguanas, red legged tortoises, and crestfallen travelers (a bird species).

Sovalye Island, Turkey is home to castle ruins that renegade knights turned pirates used as a base during the Middle Ages. Scented pine and carob forests are a 15 minute boat ride from the port of Fethiye where all travel is conducted by foot. It takes all of 45 minutes to walk from end to end of the impressive coastline.

Andros, Bahamas is home to a melting pot of cultures as well as the worlds oldest dive shop, the Western hemispheres second largest coral reef, and locals who make waterproof straw baskets, batik, as well as other crafts.
