The new National Theater offers impressive ballet performances and recently hired one of Britains top choreographers and dancers to bring a more modern outlook to Tokyos ballet world.

The latest Cirque du Soleil extravaganza kicks off in Tokyo in February. The show uses acrobatic performances to tell the story of the people a loner meets while making his way in the world.

Tokyos motor show runs from November 30th to December 11th, and is expected to feature future greener cars.

The 24th World Congress of Architecture meets in Tokyo in September and will be held at three of Tokyos most impressive architectural buildings: Tokyo International Forum, Yoyogi National Gymnasium and the National Olympics Memorial Youth Center.
