The Mob Museum opens in 2012 and covers the history of organized crime in Las Vegas and across the nation. It offers interactive exhibits and theater style installations to share fascinating stories about mobsters including Al Capone, John Gotti, and Bugsy, as well as their antagonists in law enforcement.

The Nevada State Museum located in the Las Vegas Springs Preserve reopened in October of last year. Its 70,000 square foot facility tells the history of the state going all the way back to its geological beginnings and desert ecosystems to the rise of Las Vegas. Visitors can view many exhibits including ones about the Hoover Dam, atomic testing and the Rat Pack.

The Chuck Jones Experience at Circus Circus opened in January of this year and showcases the work of the animator behind such Looney Tunes characters as Wile E. Coyote and Pepe Le Pew. Included are displays on the creator and his work, a theater, a room full of 3-D cartoon character sculptures, and a workshop where visitors can create their own sound effects and record voice-overs.

The Octavius Tower in Caesars Palace has its own entrance and features a sports complex as well as luxurious guest rooms. $860 million worth of hotel upgrades were completed in January. Next year Caesars Linq is scheduled to open, which will consist of an entertainment district with shops, restaurants and the worlds biggest observation wheel, called the High Roller.
