Las Vegas Offering “Extra Reasons” to Visit

Plenty of cheap travel options, including cheap airplane tickets, discount hotel rooms, and cheap vacation packages are available to travel to and enjoy Las Vegas once there. However, some would be tourists need that extra push to decide to visit.

Recognizing that, Las Vegas has come up with a new ad campaign that targets persuadables - people who are open to coming to Las Vegas but just need that extra reason to come.

This campaign is commencing just as several new attractions will open in the coming months. The following are some extra reasons to consider visiting Las Vegas:

Sports fans will enjoy Vegas all the more because of the new interactive sports exhibit which has opened at the Luxor Hotel and Casino called SCORE! Not only can visitors view over 200 pieces of memorabilia from several sports Halls of Fame, they can also challenge themselves via NHL themed stick handling drills, NASCAR themed pit stop challenges, and other tests of strength, speed, and agility.

Art lovers will want to check out the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Arts next month. The gallery will debut Warhol Out West on February 8th, a 59 piece exhibition of the Pop artists western themed work. Included will be iconic images such as Double Elvis, as well as paintings, advertisements, and the artists seldom viewed Cowboys and Indians series.

Water lovers will delight in the opening of a pair of new water parks. Memorial Day weekend will greet the opening of an all new $50 million Wet n Wild Las Vegas in Summerlin that will feature over 25 slides and attractions, including the Rattler, a three person toboggan like ride with twists, turns, and rattling vibration.

In nearby Henderson work is being completed on Cowabunga Bay a water park that will feature a 1960s beach theme, a 33,000 square foot wave pool, and Wild Surf - a four person ride on the worlds biggest man made wave.

Adrenaline junkies will be drawn to SlotZilla home to an 11 story slot machine, a 1,700 foot zip line, and the worlds biggest video screen. Scheduled to open in June, this downtown attraction will launch riders from the slot machines coin tray, sending them soaring over crowds at speeds up to 35 mph and through and under the LED display canopy of the Freemont Street Experience.

View enthusiasts may want to ride on the 550 foot High Roller at Caesars that will be the tallest observation wheel in the world when it opens in late 2013. 2014 is when the SkyVue Las Vegas will open, a 500 foot wheel that will be built across the street from Mandalay Bay. Both attractions will be part of larger complexes that will include shopping, dining and entertainment options.
