JetBlue Initiates Dallas Flights

In a move that is sure to positively impact the availability of cheap airplane tickets and cheap vacation packages for passengers flying into and out of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) JetBlue is introducing service out of this airport.

Initially JetBlue will offer three daily round trip flights to Boston on Embraer E190 jets. DFW becomes JetBlues third Texas airport, joining Austin and Houston Hobby.

JetBlue observed that Dallas is an important and popular destination for both business and leisure travelers.

By adding the DFW route, JetBlue is further strengthening its position as the number 1 airline flying out of Boston. Dallas will be the airlines 44th nonstop destination out of Boston Logan Airport.

JetBlue has added an average of five new destinations each year out of Boston since commencing service out of the city in 2004. It now flies to more cities than any other airline since Boston Logan opened.

JetBlue passengers departing from Dallas will be able to make connections out of Boston to points across the airlines Northeast network including Buffalo, New York JFK, Newark, Washington Dulles and Washington Regan National. JetBlue also flies to Cape Cod and New England islands via partner Cape Air and to Dublin via partner Aer Lingus.

JetBlue will face serious competition on its new DFW-Boston route from American Airlines eight daily flights to Boston and Spirit Airlines single daily flight. www.cheapfares.com
