Impressive New Water Park Attractions

If you are a water park lover, this summer you should takeadvantage of the many cheaptravel deals, such as cheap airplane tickets, discount hotel rooms, and cheap vacation packages, andcheck out at least one of the new water parks and/or attractions beingintroduced around the country.

These new attractions offer everything from a relaxingfloat ride through an oasis, to a highly themed indoor and outdoor resort, to ahigh speed drop taller than Niagara Falls.

Any water park/rider enthusiast should enjoy the followingwater attractions:

• VerrucktMeg-a-Blaster at Schlitterbahn Kansas City, Kansas is 17 stories high andsteeper than any ski slope. Ridersplunge at speeds of 65 mph in a four person raft accompanied by a multistoryuphill water coaster blast after the initial descent. The rides name Verruckt is German and meansinsane.

• SchlitterbahnBeach Country in Corpus Christi, Texas will be the familys fifth water park onPadre Island and include a Torrent Tidal Waver River, a Boogie Bahn surfingride, and a fast high splash ride called Shoot the Chute.

• RoasAviary at San Antonios SeaWorld Aquatica takes guests back to nature andenables them to float through a sanctuary with 300 birds of 50 differentspecies in the serene Roas Aviary addition. Visitors can float, wade, or walk among the tropical birds, some ofwhich belong to threatened or endangered species.

• IhusBreakaway Falls at Orlandos SeaWorld Aquatica is the tallest, steepest, andonly ride of its kind. The BreakawayFalls will be over 105 feet tall and cause riders to gasp when a trap dooropens under their feet dropping them into a thrilling high speed dive.

• Legendsof Chima Water Park at Carisbads Legoland California will introduce a floatingMount Cavora in the Lion Temple Wave Pool and a splash group equipped withslides, water cannons, and Eglors Build-A-boat where kids can create andrace their own Lego crafts.

• GreatWolf Lodge New England in Fitchburg, Massachusetts is a Northwoods themed allsuite, indoor water park resort. Included will be a wave pool, splash group climbing structure with dumpbucket, and eight different water slides including a six story HowlingTornado funnel and Wolf Tail a trap door drop slide with a 360 degree loop.

• HurricaneHarbor at Austells Six Flags Over Georgia is an all new water part that willinclude a Hurricane Bay wave pool, Paradise Island childrens area, as well asTsunami Slide, and Bonsai Pipeline multislide towers.
