While most would be travelers are on the lookout for cheap airplane tickets and cheap vacation packages, another way to enjoy future travel is by hooking up with a millionaire looking for love. Delta was ranked the top airline to attract people who are rich and looking for love, according to a new survey.
Brandon Wade, an online dating entrepreneur, commissioned the survey. Wade is a well known online dating entrepreneur involved with the following websites: SeekingArrangement, SeekingMillionaire, and the newly launched MissTravel site whose purpose is to connect wealthy travelers with attractive but financially less well off companions.
50,000 members of Wades travel sites responded to his survey which found:
Delta was preferred by over 24 percent of the respondents for providing the best chance of meeting a millionaire, following by United with 20.5 percent, American 17.5 percent and Southwest with 14.7 percent.
American was identified by the respondents to be the airline which flew the most generous millionaires. American millionaires provide their companions an average monthly allowance a little over $4,500.
United came in first for attracting the millionaires having the greatest net worth: coming in at an average of just shy of $4.7 million.
Southwest came in first for flying the cheapest millionaires. Even though their average net worth was close to $4 millions, they gave their companions only a little more than $2,600 per month.
One reason Delta ranked so high is because the airline operates a private jet service that attracts wealthy travelers. Wade believes that Southwests poor rating has to do with the fact that one of the reasons many people are wealthy is because they are so cheap. www.cheapfares.com
