Asian airports overalltook four of the top five places, with the Incheon Airport near Seoul coming insecond, Tokyo Haneda third, Hong Kong fourth, and Dohas Hamad InternationalAirport in Qatar coming in fifth.
Denver was the highest rated American airport and placed 29thoverall in the global rankings. CanadasVancouver International was ranked the best of North American airports, placing14th overall.
The only other North American airports that placed in thetop 50 were Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky (No. 34), Toronto Pearson (no. 41),Houston Bush Intercontinental (No. 48) and Atlanta (No. 50).

Skytrax also recognized winners for individualcategories. For example, Tokyo Haneda,was named the worlds cleanest. Themost improved was Romes Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport. The worlds best airport for staff servicewas the Incheon Airport near Seoul. Londons Heathrow airport T2 won best terminal.
The Worlds Best Airport Hotel went to the Crowne Plazaat Changi Airport. Tokyo Haneda wasrecognized as have the Worlds Best Domestic Airport. The award for the Worlds Best Airport forDining went to Hong Kong, while the top rated airport for food in NorthAmerica was Houston Intercontinental.
The 2018 World Airport Awards were based on almost 14million airport survey questionnaires asking travelers of over 100nationalities to rank their airport experiences on everything from check-in andarrivals, to transfers, shopping, security, and immigration.
