Allegiant Air Extending Service to Hawaii

Allegiant Air, well known for its cheap airplane tickets and cheap vacation packages, has announced its intention to add five new routes to Hawaii in the fall.

This will be in addition to its announcement in April of its plan to begin service to Honolulu from Las Vegas and Fresno beginning in late June.

At the time Allegiant observed Service to Las Vegas and Fresno reflects a moderate growth plan by our company. With the addition of the four aircraft we have acquisitioned, we plan to expand service to other mainland cities in the future.

In mid November Allegiant will start offering nonstop service to Honolulu International from four mainland cities: Bellingham, WA, Eugene, OR, Santa Maria, CA, and Stockton, CA. Service will also be added to Maui from Bellingham, WA.

Two flights a week will be offered on each Hawaiian route out of Bellingham. The other routes will have one round trip flight per week.

Allegiant commented We are pleased to expand our presence on the islands with nonstop service to Maui and additional nonstop service to Honolulu from four more of our existing markets. This is especially exciting because it comes shortly after announcing initial service to Hawaii from Las Vegas and Fresno. We anticipate the new service will be very popular, especially when customers take advantage of great deals when bundling their air, hotel, and car rental.
